01 MATERIAL SOURCING HUB

Choose the layer by the job it must do.

Move from a broad material name to a supplier-ready brief. Each route connects the layer role, converting questions, test targets and RFQ inputs needed for a useful comparison.

02 BUYER ROUTES

Three pages. Three distinct sourcing decisions.

03 SHARED RFQ FOUNDATION

Start with what the buyer knows—and expose what is still open.

  1. 01

    Packed product, format and destination

  2. 02

    Current or target layer structure

  3. 03

    Performance targets and test conditions

  4. 04

    Converting line and trial requirements

  5. 05

Web, core, winding and delivery details

04 MATERIAL SOURCING FAQ

Resolve the decision job before comparing suppliers.

01How should a buyer choose between foil, metallized film and transparent film?

Start with the job of each layer: barrier, structure, print surface, sealing or another measurable function. Then compare the complete laminate against product sensitivity, line conditions, target tests and destination requirements.

02What information makes supplier matching faster?

Share the packed product, current or target structure, performance targets, width and roll format, converting conditions, test methods, destination, trial need and recurring volume. Unknown items can remain open for recommendation.

03Can an RFQ start before the final laminate structure is fixed?

Yes. Describe the application, current problem and fixed constraints, then mark the structure as open to recommendation. The goal of the first brief is to make assumptions visible before samples or prices are compared.
